CORPORATE Pro application is offered through two separate formats:

Standard CD Plus Internet Updates Overview

 

CORPORATE Pro programs have always been available in the form of a CD for all clients. Once the original application has been installed from the CD, all other changes, corrections, updates and enhancements to the programs will be available in the form of Internet Updates, which users can easily download and upgrade to the most recent version of the application.

Due to the nature of 100% Windows based applications, all CORPORATE Pro programs can be installed on any Stand-alone or Network environment. If the programs are installed on a network drive, a Workstation Installation, once per year and per user machine is also required to establish connections between the original programs and user data files (located on the network drive) and individual user’s machines. The Workstation Installation can be performed from the same original CD received at the beginning of the year.

There is no need for a dedicated server and it requires minimal or no IT personnel involvement to update and maintain the application.

The best part is that if the application is installed on a network drive, all users can have simultaneous access to the data files (company returns) from the same office. And to top it all off, if the application has been updated on the network, all other individual user’s machines will be automatically updated.

 

    
   

CORPORATE Pro Online Overview

  
   


CORPORATE Pro Online is exactly the same as the Standard version with the exception of the following:

  • The applications will be installed on a series of extremely secure and very powerful Citrix Servers, hosted and maintained by TaxSation, or at the client’s choice, on their own Citrix server.
  • If CORPORATE Pro is installed on TaxSation’s Citrix Servers
    • There is no need for any further installation or updates from the user.
    • All users of the client company will be licensed and receive their own unique User ID and Password to access CORPORATE Pro Online.
    • To setup a client company with CORPORATE Pro Online, a one-time setup fee of $995 is required in addition to an annual per-user web access fee. Typically, the higher the number of users, the lower the per-user fee will be.
    • Each time the users access the program, they are automatically pointed to the latest available version.
    • The user data files are backed up on an hourly basis.
    • The entire application is monitored 24-7.
    • Users can access the programs and data files from any computer in the world simultaneously.
    • The processing speed is phenomenal since instead of utilizing the resources of client’s machine, it uses the TaxSation server’s resources.
    • The Administrator at the client company level can easily assign different Security Rights to different users so they can access specific companies, or, within all companies, work on their assigned areas such as specific forms or schedules of Federal, specific assigned states and/or specific tasks within the application.

    • The client Administrator will need to utilize the Standard CD Plus Internet Update approach and install it on their own Citrix Server.
    • It is the client’s responsibility to stay caught up with all available Internet Updates.
    • The responsibility of maintenance and backup of data files will also reside with the client company.
    • Each user can then access their Citrix Server and get simultaneous access to the CORPORATE Pro programs and their own data files from any computer in the world.
    • Almost all security features available for CORPORATE Pro Online are also offered if the client chooses to proceed with their own server.
    • The processing speed could be lower than CORPORATE Pro Online since it will have to utilize the client’s servers or the individual machines.
    • There are no annual per-user web access fees required, but the client will pay a One-time Web Access Fee of $995 for their Citrix server licensing purposes.
